Experience
James received a BS in mathematics and computer science from Arkansas Tech University; an MS in mathematics from the University of North Texas; and a PhD in Computational and Applied Mathematics from the University of Texas at Austin working with Dr. Greg Rodin. He joined Sandia in 2002 to work on the Sierra Framework: a massively parallel, adapative, multi-physics finite element framework used to support implicit dynamics, explicit dynamics, reacting flows and high speed flows. Interests include fluid dynamics, finite element methods, boundary element methods and networks.
